ABOUT

Cynthia Yang (辛汐央) was a professional marketing manager before starting her illustration journey at Nottingham Trent University. Due to her multi-cultural working background, she is excellent at design and illustrating from the perspective of connecting her clients and audience.

She was one of the four people shortlisted to further create for the NHS Nottingham picture book project. Her desire and inspiration for her artworks are from her self-reflection during her working and life experience. For instance, she self-published her original picture book as well as Zine for bunny she rescued. 

Cynthia currently teaching illustration course in Universities based Hainan China. She is keen to explore the relationship between the creator's inner creative consciousness and their cultural background.
